FRANCE (no i didn't see the eifel tower or the champs d'elyse)

FRANCE!!!
this was the first of many busses i rode whilst on tour.
this book took me from the Orly Airport to the Montparnasse station in Paris.
It was raining (a running theme throughout my tour) and i was like oh sh!t everything is in french (duh)...
i arrived at the Montparnasse station and the next destination was Rambouillet, a town about an hour train ride from Paris. I met with Anabel (my couchsurfing host) and we took a nice walk through her local park. I spent 2 days in Rambouilet and also visited their castle/park thang. I guess it was Louis XVI's summer home or something, lots of manicured gardens and rad little chilling spots. too bad it rained the whole time, either way it was BEAUTIFUL>>>>>>>>

in the park/castle place there is a deer sanctuary, you can get real close to them (they are behind a fence). i even saw what looked like an albino deer but couldn't get a pic, maybe it was my imagination....

this was the first european dog i met. nice, friendly and mellow. i wish USA dogs were like that
next stop was Paris, ya its rad, no its not very VEGAN but the bread is cheap and tasty so whatevs. My couchsurfing host was Willy. Willy is the HOMIE!!!! a real awesome and giving dude who knows how to party. Here he is renting some bikes for our ride home.
you can rent bikes in the street, you can do that in Copenhagen tour, hello USA catch up with that!!!
Math is Willy's homie, another awesome dude, a designer, a musician, a Parisian, totally radddddd.
Liberte was visiting in Paris too, she makes rad drawings and is a cat. Here she is making some noises with the ol' Kaos pad.
This the best Falafel in Paris. KING FALAFEL PALACE. Near the Centre Pompidou.

NEW YORK CITY (with burrittos and beaches?!)

oh new york, your stinky but rad!
in the subways i noticed that artists have been cutting up the advertisements on the walls and rearranging them in weird ways, here's an example, it was a collage on top of a tori spelling realtiy tv ad poster

i made it to Marky's house! i was stoked. much thanks to him and Rachel for letting me crash!

here is Marky showing us the latest in summer styz..

we went to an art show at Barbara Gladstone in Chelsea
x-Ucla'ers Michael Queenland, Kerry Tribe, and Kristin Everberg had some work in the show
no pics cuz my camera died...
the show was great and they had free salad and tasty carrots
http://www.gladstonegallery.com/youth.asp

above Marky plays "We belong to the Night" by Pat Benatar (below)
p.s. i think she looks like a cat

he gratiously helped me make my CD's!

Hand Painted covers! limited edition of 100 CD-R's
oh ya!

we went to see Devon Williams and the _______ @ the knitting factory

they sounded great and the sound was strong (but we got there late.. doh!)

we picked up Apple Brains

went to some bar with LTAF and had "Pickle back shots" which are shots of pickle juice followed by shots of whiskey.
yes it was gross but it was new for me.. we walked home, pickled...

a visit to Mark's studio...

beautifull!

he's getting a bit more sculptural these days and im digging it!

mr. a brains suggested we go here

the chicken nuggets were BOMB (dare i say better than Vegan Glory's in LA)

the shake was good to but it was like 8 bucks or something, the food was aight,
but not better than Happy Family (oh hacienda heights!)

then it was GEMINI PARTY TIME @ Inger's loft
it was a blast and my best show yet!
the greatest moment was when Tom Texas joined me and sang some improv magic!
here's a pic as things warmed up...

thanks so much Inger and roomates for having me!!! and to all the homies that DANCED!!!!!

next day or so i met up with Tiffany and we saw this horrible movie "The Strangers"

it was just straight up fucking rude, defntly scary and shocking but too gruesome
(or maybe im just getting old)
the highlight was experimenting with reeses's pieces in our popcorn.
salty, chocolaty, buttery, tasty, stomachache
(yes i know its not vegan, quit hating)

Next stop was Tom Texas's rad studio, he's got killer shit (as always)

and we wrote a little song on the Kaoscilator!
(for the forthcoming album....)

off to mastering the album w/ Paul Gold @ Salt Mastering in Greenpoint!!!
check the crazy speaker action...

the sweet EQs

met up with Marky Queeraoke at the Metropolitan Bar.
A lovely gay bar, this is truly the place to be!

Tiffany Roth brought down the house with her rendition of Frankie Valle's "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You"
She seriously owned it.
SERRRRIOOUUSSLY

dude, new york has RAD BEACHES!
i swear it was like Cali
it's called Jones Beach, off the Long Island Rail Road and a short bus ride.
i never new!!

thanks to Tiffany and Melissa for bringing me along!

followed by a Burritto.
yes, a Burritto in New York!
i was skeptical but i have to say it wasn't bad.
no where near what you get in LA but the portions were big, they had a great selection of hot sauces, it was clean and cozy, the service was good and the price wasn't too bad.

and they even had beaner corn for you dairy eaters...

and then came the VEGAN DREAMS!!!
oh man!
I went over to Summer's place and she whipped up some fresh coffee flavored vegan ice cream...

oh my god it was so good.
i want this in my belly right now!!!!!

and as a farewell to nyc i cooked some vegan potato tacos and we feasted!!
Dan Nishimoto and Daniel Okamura were there.
(a little North Hollywood High reunion)
we feasted and discussed how shitty the world is.
good times!!!!!!

next stop PARIS!
much much love to all the homies in NYC!!!

Here's some pics of my last show in LA.
This is of Babies from LA/Arizona. That's the legend Matt D shredding into the darkness.
I believe the other band is called No Babies... but i could be wrong... either way they freaken SHRED
It was an honor to play with them!
